I have just noticed that my brake lights are not working. For diagnostic purposes, I wanted to know if they only work when the bus is aired up. Right now they don't work either way. Thanks |

I've noticed that as long as my park brake is set, the brake lights do not operate. Once the park brake is released, the brakes lights function ok. Iv. |

Lin, vehicles with air brakes need to be aired up to activate the brake light. The brake light switch senses air pressure. Brian |

Iv- MCI uses two brake light switches, one for park and one for service brakes. Both located on the ceiling of the spare tire compartment. A voltmeter will give a quick answer as to which one is working. Jim |
